Standard Natural Draft hot water tanks are the traditional hot water tank design with increased energy efficiency for the 21st Century household. These conventional tanks naturally exhaust combustion fumes out of the chimney. They are constructed of steel, lined with glass that protects the tank from corrosion, and insulated externally with foam and covered with a thin, outer metal jacket. Today’s natural draft tanks are well insulated and with their increased EF rating, you can be certain your hot water needs will be met as well as conserving your energy dollars.
